Stretching the Magic: Why I Decorate for Christmas Early Every Year

There is a very specific moment each November when I look around my home and think, Okay, it is time. Time to pull out the bins, untangle the lights, and bring out the Christmas tree I have been patiently walking past for weeks.

I know some people have very strong opinions about when decorations should go up, and according to them, I am “too early,” but honestly, I have made peace with the fact that I am an early decorator at heart.

In fact, I wear that badge proudly.
