Jellystone Designs Teething Jewelry For Mom, Juniors and Baby! {Giveaway}

I couldn’t have received the Jellystone Designs products from Rock Pretty Baby at a better time. They came right before the holiday season kicked up last year – and right before my baby’s teething kicked in. I’m not a very dressy person but I do like to look a little put together, especially when the holiday season rolls around. For me, that usually means rocking a sweater without a hood and a pair of Tom Toms over Nikes.

My first impression was that both the necklace and bangles could be worn with anything… from casual to dressy. But I soon found that my favourite thing about them was that they kept my 10-month-old from throwing my silverware onto the floor or repeatedly stuffing her entire hand into the food on my plate. She was quite happy to chew away on my necklace while I ate, peacefully. SO peacefully.

On that note, the products are BPA-free and have zero off gassing right from the package. Basically it’s teether material made into a fashionable necklace.

I have to say that they hit the nail on the head with the closure system too. It’s sturdy enough to survive some pulling but will come open with a yank hard enough to hurt the necklace or the neck it’s on. I had a similar product that would bust open at the sight of tiny hands and end up no longer adorning my neck by the time I left the house. The creators of this necklace are clearly moms who know how to make the perfect snap.

My daughter got to try out the heart necklace from their line of preschooler jewelry. You wouldn’t think the necklace of a preschooler would spend so much time in their mouth, but with my girl, everything outside of spinach still makes it way in there. I never had to urge her to take it out… since it’s made with the same hospital grade silicone the rest of their products are made with.

Lastly, my wee one got a chance to gnaw on her little Smart Phone teether. It’s cute, a good size, and easy to wash (I just slid it into the basket of my dishwasher). It also has a little hole so you can thread a leash through… which is a good feature for something she’s so fond of in the “throwing stage.”
