I recently had the opportunity to receive a Diamond PlugnView Remote Home Monitoring Internet Night Vision Security Camera kit to review.
The brand new PlugnView camera feeds real-time colour video to your iPhone, iPad®, Android tablet, smart phone and/or your computer. It is super easy to set up and you can easily monitor your home anytime and anywhere from your portable device via your data plan or Wi-Fi connection.
The kit I received came with their home plug adapter and their camera. The plug adapter connects to a router with the cable (included) and the camera can be set up in any room and connected to a power outlet. After the initial setup and download of their free app I was able to start monitoring my home right from my iPhone via Wi-Fi.
I was plesently surprised by the image quality and the IR night vision up to 16 feet. I love that I can take photos of what I see on my phone and save them and from my computer using their software I can actually schedule recordings, e-mail notification alerts and motion detection all via my computer.
I found the camera’s nigh vision is wonderful when using it to monitor my son’s room after he goes to bed. He has his own bed now and sometimes he plays before going to sleep, with the PlugnView I can keep an eye on him without having to disturb him by opening the door to check on him multiple times.
Bellow you can see an actual photo I took using my iPhone of what the PlugnView camera was capturing, pretty good quality, right?

Wow is all I can say. I often worry about my kids at night, and there is always in the back of my mind, a thought that someone may try and break in one day so this would be awesome to have. Looks like its state of the art!

Hi do I need Internet or phone line at home to use this?
I only have Internet on my iPhone

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a
sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the sheell to
her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it
pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I
