Creating with all kinds of dough is pretty much a standard activity for toddlers. And as much as I love the bright colours and creativity it inspires, I really hate the mess. You know what I’m talking about – that gooey sticky crustiness that often comes with it. Enter Skwooshi!
“Skwooshi is the new toy dough that lets parents sit back and relax while kids create and play on their own. The mess-free, odor-free, creative dough allows children to let their imaginations run wild as they mold and play with Skwooshi.”
My toddler couldn’t wait to get his hands on this stuff once it arrived! When you take it out of the package it’s solid, but once you roll it around in your hands it softens up and becomes flexible for play. We rolled it, squished it, stretched it out and spent time putting it into the different molds we were provided with. It comes in several colours which can be mixed together just like any other kind of molding dough.
I love that it didn’t smell bad or make my hands messy. When we were finished playing there were no bits and pieces on the floor and I didn’t need to scrub down my table. We put it back in it’s containers and it hardened back up for next time. Easy fun and easy clean up! That’s my kind of activity!

Nice, we’ll have to check this out.
How long does this last? Does it “dry up” fast?
That’s the beauty of it Nicole – it’s suppose to dry up! That’s how it works. When you aren’t using it it dries up and hardens, but as soon as you hold it in your warm hands it becomes soft again.
Is this safe to eat? I have a toddler and an infant and I always worry about my younger child putting stuff like this in his mouth. It should be right?
Hmmm… I wouldn’t want my kid eating it.
It looks neat! I think my brother and son would enjoy this. I glad your son had so much fun!
Thanks Ashleigh!
Cool 🙂 Love this.
this is awesome! I love that it warms in their hands
sounds like a fun new sort of modelling clay. I like that it hardens so that the ‘creations’ can be kept if wanted and if they don’t turn out so well can be warmed again and something new created. Nice bright colours too from what I can see, that always appeals to children.
How cool! I wish I would have had this when my kiddo was little! Heck, he might even enjoy it now at 8.
My grandson loves Skwooshi! He plays with it for hours at a time!
That looks cool. Would love that for my nephew!
Wow! We need this! A few years ago my daughters grandma got her moondough, Its awful stuff. It’s soft like fleece but crumbles everywhere. Makes a huge mess! I need this to replace the moondough.
Wow, that looks really cool! I’m always on the look out for modeling products for the kiddos, thank you for the review!
What fun the grandkids would have with this
what ingredients does it have?? it only says gluten free & wheat free?!
This looks like fun and i am sure the kids would enjoy it very much
