I love that it has Secure Guard to prevent my daughter from sliding under the lap-belt portion of the safety belt (submarining) during impact, thus minimizing the risk of abdominal injury

I have heard great things about Britax, but have not used one yet.
Booster seats are designed to position the straps over the strongest part of your child's body. The Secure Guard clip wiht the Britax model, prevents what is known as 'submarining', where if a child moves, the straps move into an unsafe position. The Secure Guard clip prevents this from happening.

The secure Guard clip is crucial to child's safety. The side impact guard is an excellent feature that really makes a difference in the car seats safety as well.
