The holiday season is getting closer and if you’re looking for the perfect gift for mom or dad, a grandparent or someone close to your child, you really have to check out www.kidzcandesign.com.
This company came up with a perfect idea. They take your child’s work of art, photos, handprints, footprints and drawings and convert them into a high quality sterling silver custom jewelry. The pieces are beautiful and anyone can wear them with pride. It’s a one of kind piece of jewelry that your child can be proud of. Options include, charms, nameplates, necklaces, bracelets, dog tags and bookmarks.
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to try out a piece of jewelry from kidzcandesign.com, so my daughter and I worked together to make a fun print for a nameplate necklace with her name on it. I drew her name and she picked the artwork she wanted on it. We had a great deal of fun working on it together and we were excited to see the result.
The process was simple enough. Scan or take a photograph of your child’s drawing. Select the jewelry you want to customize. Upload, email or mail the image you want to use. Then pay for your purchase and wait for your custom jewelry!
Kyah and I were both very excited when we received our package and I was very happy when we opened it up. Kyah couldn’t wait to try on and she made me put it on her right away.
She was so happy to be wearing something she helped create so I can’t even imagine the delight her grandparents would get in wearing jewelry designed by their grandchildren.
It’s such a great idea and an amazing way to make a keepsake out of your child’s favorite artwork and if you’re looking for a unique gift for someone close to your child, I really recommend this. I loved it and I’m definitely going to try it out with my son when he has some artwork that he loves.

I checked out these pendants and they look like a cheap knock off version of the jewelry made by Formia Design — the necklace I got for my wife is really cut out and way more detailed. Pretty sure these are not handmade like the Formia pendants.
