Lougheed Town Centre is thrilled to announce that Santa Claus is ditching the North Pole early and relocating his workshop to Burnaby’s best-loved mall this Saturday, November 23! Saint Nick’s arrival will feature tons of kid-friendly activities including a parade of everyone’s favourite Christmas characters and Metro Vancouver’s first ever shopping centre snowfall.

10:00AM – Winter Wonderland Stilt Walkers
Entertainment will soar to new heights as these leggy performers warm up the crowd for all the frosty festivities
10:30AM – How the Grinch Stole Christmas Show
Santa’s old frenemy, The Grinch, stars in this special theatrical production – with an exclusive meet and greet for his fans
11:00AM – Santa Claus Parade
Jolly old Saint Nick himself will lead everyone’s favourite Christmas characters, from Frosty the Snowman to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, in a merry traipse around the mall (complete with marching band!)
11:15AM – First Indoor Snowfall
The forecast calls for a white Christmas season, indoors and out! Lougheed Town Centre is proud to launch Metro Vancouver’s first and only shopping mall snowfall program, continuing five times daily until December 24
11:30AM – Holiday Crafts and Letters to Santa
Kids can send their Christmas wish lists straight to the source and receive a personal reply from Santa
Not to be outdone, Santa’s better half Mrs. Claus has organized a selection of special perks for shoppers, including free 5×7 photos with Santa every Monday from November 25 to December 23, and an exclusive Santa paging system – the perfect antidote to horrendous holiday line-ups. From November 23 to December 24, visitors can simply provide their name at Santa’s workshop and get paged when it’s their turn to saddle up on Santa’s knee.

My mother had our photo taken every year with Santa, I had photos of our children done and now my daughters have their children’s photos taken…a family tradition.
