I confess, I’m a hat person. I have dozens of toques, berets, bucket hats, head scarves, fedoras, and caps. Wearing them has its advantages: I never have to worry about bad hair days, they can provide great sun coverage, I stay warmer in winter, and it adds a little flair to any outfit. I got to add a Ladybug Pre-tied Head Scarf to my head wear collection recently and I liked it.

These pre-tied cotton bandannas are available in several solid colours—black, brown, pink, white and light blue—and really simple to wear. The slouchy soft cap features covered elastic at the neck for added comfort and has two nine-inch tails. The elastic keeps the scarf on snug without the lumpy knot you’d have at the back of your neck if you tied on a regular bandanna. The fabric is quite light too, so it would be a great option for summer.

Ladybug pre-tied head scarves would be the ideal hair covering if you are dealing with hair loss, doing food preparation, working as a nurse, for religious modesty, or just quick and easy fashion. I wore mine pulled over my hair when it was down, but they’re also handy if you want to tuck it inside to get your hair completely out of your way. They sell for about $13 online at www.myheadcoverings.com.
