O.co aka Overstock.com: Bionic Ear {Holiday Gift Idea}

Looking for a fun present for a child aged 6 and up? The Bionic Ear by POOF-Slinky is a super fun electronic listening device. This gadget is perfect for little detectives that want super powerful hearing, great for playing the “spy” game.

The Bionic Ear allows you to listen to faint an far away sounds with a range of up to 300 feet and a set of headphones is included. I was pretty impressed with the sound that was picked up by the microphone, we tested it with very soft whispers from one room to the other and it was amazing to clearly hear what the other person was saying!

The device allows you to look through the targeting scope and then pull the trigger to amplify the sounds one you have sight of your “subject”. Our preschooler had a lot of fun playing with it and we made up some fun games to get him to decipher conversations and see how accurate he was. He is a big fan of Inspector Gadget and he thought the device looked like something Inspector Gadget would have.
