Fundamentals Learning Program

The PTPA approved, Hot Wheels® FUNdamentals Learning Program aims to provide parents and teachers with easy-to-implement lesson plans and resources designed to engage students aged 3 to 7 in fun learning activities using kid-friendly toys and play-based learning. Created by experienced educators, this program’s lessons meet curriculum expectations.

Teachers and parents can find more information and access the free lesson plans on their website http://www.hotwheelsinschool.ca, they can also request a FREE FUNdamentals Learning Program Kit, which includes Hot Wheels® product and math, science and language lesson plans.

For a chance to win a grant for your child’s school, you can also have your child complete the centerfold of the Activity Book and mail it to the address on the bottom.

Here’s what’s included in the Hot Wheels kit:

Included in the Hot Wheels® kit are Hot Wheels® Product, Special Offers, Activity Books with an entry to a School Grant, Lesson Plan DVD (Grade 1 & Kindergarten) and a Welcome Letter that explains how to implement the FUNdamentals Learning Program.

The activity book features spot the difference games, counting, basic math, a maze, story writing and more. There is also a $5 off coupon at the back of the book to purchase Hot Wheels Toys.

The box also includes Hot Wheels cars to be used as part of the lesson plans and to give to each student. My son was having a lot of fun counting the cars and racing them.  He was happy practicing his numbers while playing. The kit also includes fun racetracks that can be put together in the classroom!
