I immediately opened the package and was very happy to see that the locket was simply beautiful. It is made with sterling silver and it comes with an 18″ chain. The text I chose was displayed in the front of the locket and the letters/numbers were clear and centered.
Inside of the locket the two photos I submitted were centered in the middle of the hearts. Both photos looked very clear and crisp! I absolutely loved the high quality of the laser engraved photos {hard to see in photos but the quality is excellent in person}.

What a beautiful locket! This year I will be celebrating my very first mother’s day! I did not think I would actually get to “celebrate” this day as I had a difficult time getting pregnant. I would absolutely LOVE to win this locket!
We usually go for dinner with the family. My kids are still babies so I’m excited for when they get older and start giving me little hand-made gifts 😀

I usually celebrate mother’s day by treating my mom to brunch and buying her flowers.
I usually celebrate Mother’s Day with my side in the morning and my husband’s side in the afternoon. We usually get my mom a book or movie or something else she wants. The past two years my husband watches the boys all weekend and a group of my girlfriends and I go away to the beach- Best Mother’s day ever.
I get breakfast in bed on Mother’s Day every year…in the afternoon we take Mom out for a late Brunch and give her a beautiful bouquet of her favorite flowers. I hope to receive a new charm for my bracelet.

April 16-We celebrate it fairly quietly. Sometimes one of my family will take my husband out to dinner or bring us lobsters. We usually receive small gifts or flowers. When my Mother-in-law was alive, I took her flowers and we took her out to supper. My own Mother has been gone for over thirty years but we used to get her a nice dinner or flowers.-el03ro

I take my mother out for a nice lunch and buy her flowers. She’s 81 now and likes things low-key. Just spending time with her is wonderful.

We order Chinese food.
My sister and I drive out to my Mom’s place, and take her out for lunch. We usually buy her roses and carnations (her favorite flowers), and I make a card with photographs edited in PhotoShop, along with scrapbooking materials. We also try to find something practical for a gift, like Chi seeds, and Voltaren for arthritis, rather than trinkets, because she does not need more “stuff”, as she says 🙂
This locket, however, would be perfect to give my sister for mother’s day! She doesn’t receive anything from me.

I always make my mother a carrot cake because it’s really the only thing I bake well and it’s her favourite. I make a nice dinner for her, too…whatever she asks for and usually get her some nice flowers, as well. She’s been good to me and my siblings over the years and she deserves the best. depending on where my mom is, we send her a card, and we don’t do anything special here (I used to buy flowers to plant but I work 10 hr shifts in the summer time so everything generally dies)
I live far away from my mom so I usually send her a card and flowers followed by the mothers day phone call!! Her birthday is the same week sometimes the same day so I already get another gift for her that week. My kids on the other hand, the older 2 in their early 20’s usually forget til late in the day or the next day and my youngest just will say happy mothers day not much fun!

We usually have lunch out as a family. I try to get my mom something unique and different each year. Since this year is my first as a mother, I’ll have to wait and see what I’ll get! I do know that since this is the first year my mom will be a grandma I want to do something very special for her 🙂

Well, we share mother’s day between me, my mom and my MIL. Everyone gets some “special time” and a small gift with a card. Last year I made professionally printed poster sized photo collages of our daughter for the Grandmas!

I lost my mother 5 years ago. the cemetery where she is buried has a all day gathering with lunch on mothers day. I spend the day there with family and friends.
I usually give my Mom a perenial for her garden. This year she will receive a photo book of my hubs/kids/I from the photo shoot we had done at the end of 2011. My girls usually make a craft for me for Mother’s day.
We don’t do anything special. It’s just a day we give each other cards and then go on our normal day.
My favourite thing to do is cook for my mom…so that’s the plan. Of course I always give her a present to say thankyou which is hardly enough since I have the best mother ever!

How do I celebrate Mother’s Day – well this year will be the first where I will be honouring my Mother through a Memorial service at church and visiting her final resting place. It has been less than one year since her passing. She will have a candle light on her behalf and she will also receive fresh cut, red roses placed at her marker. I am not a Mother myself so there will be no celebration on my behalf.
We try to have a family get-together (and I don’t have to cook anything).
