I am super excited to introduce you to an all-new Netflix original TV series, DreamWorks Animation’s ALL HAIL KING JULIEN! A favourite character from the Madagascar franchise, King Julien takes on the jungle’s craziest adventures in this new comedy series, along with his loyal sidekicks Maurice and Mort plus a whole new cast of colourful animals.
The first five episodes of All Hail King Julien were released on Dec. 19 and our family had a chance to watch them. This family friendly series is filled with great humor, catchy and upbeat music and fun and entertaining story lines. Featuring a talented voice cast that includes television legend Henry Winkler (Happy Days) as Julien’s regal predecessor, Uncle King Julien, alongside Emmy-winning actor Danny Jacobs as King Julien, Andy Richter (Conan, Arrested Development) as Mort, Kevin Michael Richardson (Family Guy) as Maurice, and India de Beaufort (One Tree Hill) as Clover, the king’s special-ops expert.
My 4-year-old is now a big All Hail King Julien fan and he dances along every time the opening song of the show starts. We also received a super fun New Year’s King Julien party kit that we will be using to ring in the new year jungle style.
They even sent some wonderful Mocktail Recipes for Milk Flutes with Chocolate Chip Cookie Sticks and Homemade Apple Cider, yummy! Want the recipes? Click HERE
I know what we are going to be doing on New Year’s eve, we will probably watch some ALL HAIL KING JULIEN episodes, followed by a nice dinner and a little family party!

I’m hoping my big cold is gone for new year’s…..I woke up xmas morning with one. And baby girl has had a fever too. So if things keep up the way they have been, it’s gonna be a pretty low key new years here….

This is a cute show! My nephew loves it! I really love that Netflix is continuing to come out with their own original series, especially for kids now as well.
