Happy New Year!
I can’t believe 2014 is officially over and we are already at the beginning of 2015. We had a wonderful month of December, lots of celebrating, including our son’s first birthday, a family trip to sunny Mexico to celebrate Christmas with extended family, our 10th year wedding anniversary and a low-key but fun New Year’s eve with our little ones. So many wonderful things to be grateful for!
Now as the new year starts it is time to start working on those family resolutions and prepare for back to school time and the routine.
One of our biggest family resolutions for the new year is to spend more times outdoors as a family, fresh air is super important and we all need some extra time outdoors, we are adding visits to parks, climbs, hikes and other active outdoor actives to our calendar this year. It is usually pretty hard for us to get outside when it’s dark, rainy and cold during the winter but it’s not healthy to stay in, we are going to make a big effort to spend as much time outdoors as we can, no matter what the weather is like outside.
As our oldest heads back to school next week I have to start planning his school snacks and lunch, I know I will adding a KINDER® SURPRISE® to his first week to make it sweeter, as adjusting back to the routine can be tough on little ones. He loves KINDER® SURPRISE® eggs and he always looks forward to the toys, the new 2015 KINDER® SURPRISE® toys look like lots of fun too! There are more than 50 new toys in the Classic eggs and another 50+ new toys in the Pink eggs—everything from parachutes and animals to fashion accessories and spinning tops!
Be sure to visit the KINDER® Canada Facebook page during the week of January 26 to 30 when they’ll be celebrating Games & Puzzle Week with daily prizing. (HINT: the theme of each game or puzzle links to the new toy collection!). Don’t miss it!
What are your family resolutions of the new year?

Cheers Angela and a very Happy New Year to you too 🙂
Thankfully I am old enough not to make New Year’s resolutions any more – I just take life as it comes and hope that 2015 will be much better than 2014.
Love that Elizabeth 🙂 Happy New Year to you too!
Happy New Year! We want to cook more meals at home this year, eat healthier in general 🙂
Sounds like your year ended well and you are looking forward to a great new one. We didn’t make family resolutions. We choose words to focus on. My husbands is discipline and mine is hope.
Just a plug for a great family outdoor activity – geocaching!
Geocaching is great!

Sounds like a great year!
We too want to be more active as a family. Biking, xcountry skiing and swimming are our favorites. We hope to add a new family activity in there…maybe rock climbing?
Awe love it,all the best in 2015
That is our resolution too! We live somewhere it is always rainy so it’s kind of a downer and more difficult but we will have to embrace the rain won’t we?

There is something about a New Year that inspires us to make resolutions that may better our health or our family. Of course, we can begin these resolutions at any time. However, a New Year seems to begin the new year with a new slate.
