Since my little one was very young he has always suffered from painful burps. He had them along with colic when I was exclusively breastfeeding him and also when I used a pump and he was drinking my breastmilk in a bottle. I tried many bottles back then but I never tried AVENT and now I know I should have given them a chance.
Their BPA-Free Bottle is clinically proven to reduce colic and fussing, specially during night time. AVENT Less Colic bottles have a 2 piece anti-colic system that is designed for leak free feeding.
I found that it was extremely important for the ring to be completely straight before closing the bottle to avoid leaks. Also I was over tightening the lid and I found that I didn’t need to tighten it as much. After ensuring the ring was placed the correct way I experienced no leaks during our testing.
Something I really like about the bottle is the wide neck that allows for easy cleaning, plus I like that it is dishwasher safe as well. I like not having to use a brush or other tools to clean it properly and the fact that the material is high quality and they are built to last (BPA-Free, so safe for baby).
I definitively think that the anti-colic system really works and I have noticed it is a lot easier to burp my son after his feed. I noticed there are also fewer burps that we have to deal with in general.

Lots of people I know love these bottles. If I ever have to bottle feed one of my babies I will definitely try these.
We used Playtex VentAire with our first child, up until she was about 10 months and then she switched to sippy cups. They did wonderful for her but of course, they contain BPA so we have been considering what bottles to use for when our next 2 are born this summer so thanks for this post, it was quite helpful. ๐
I need to correct my previous comment, the Playtex VentAire bottles were not BPA free at the time we used them for our daughter but apparently they now are which is a relief for me ๐
Yeah, I think most baby bottles are now BPA free. Best to double check always anyway ๐
Such a great product, one that puts your mind at ease knowing your baby won’t be drinking in BPA!
I like Avent bottles but this 2 piece is hard to clean as the small ring takes ages to clean. I usually clean using a brush and after that i can still see some milk stains. Maybe someone can tell me how to clean them properly.
Maryam, do you use the little brush that came with it? there are also bigger brushes that you can purchase that are made specifically for washing baby bottles.
Have you tried washing them in your dishwasher if you have one?
Im an over thinking parent who wants the best of everything for my baby. These bottles have exceeded my expectations I bought them for my 6mo old and love them.
Easy to clean not a lot of tiny parts.
Wide mouth makes putting formula in them with a baby in one hand easy.
Vents Air very well for the little guy.
Be sure to red description to get the right flow speed of nipple for your baby. These (the ones I got) had a slow flow that works great.
