Some days creativity is just not on my to-do list, or even within my abilities, it’s just the way it goes. Thankfully I don’t have to worry about it that much because my kids seem to be one (or three) big balls of creative energy. One the days that I just can’t, I give my daughter our 3D Magic Pen by Hamilton Buhl to create something awesome.
I think kids pick up new skills, new technology, and technics faster than adults because I completely struggled using the 3D pen while my daughter just used it, she didn’t care what she created, she just created.
Kids can turn their 2-dimensional fantasy into 3-dimensional reality, so instead of just papers piling up on my fridge or desk, we’ve got some interesting 3D art now too. It’s cool not just because I sometimes need an explanation of what it is, but because you can see more clearly where their train of thoughts was leading them.
As a homeschooling mom the 3D Magic Pen has been a great addition in our home. Art stimulates creative thinking, essential in implementing cognitive skills, problem-solving skills and so much more. Just watch as your child’s drawing takes shape and their fantasy comes alive! Dinosaurs and doodles, shapes to be used in math, there is really no limit to what they can make.

Wow, that takes the word pen to a whole new level 🙂
I think this looks amazing. My son would love something like this!
I had never heard of this until now. But it would be a lot of fun.
Okay, this is super-cool, just like a 3D printer, but on a smaller scale! I am sure that older kids would love this!
I’ve never heard of this before. That is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. I’m an adult and I’d love to play with it.
This is new to me. I think my partner would love this as much as my daughter.
