We received a selection of Earth-themed books from DK Canada just in time to celebrate. Teaching our boys about our planet and what we can do to help take care of it is fun with this great selection of educational books. Check out our favourites below.

For Earth Day, we will spend the day at a local petting zoo.
We are spending Earth Day at Science World. What better way to celebrate by learning.

We don’t usually do anything special but I did hear that we’ll be going around the lake collecting garbage now that our snow is slowly disappearing at long last.

My family does a spring cleanup in our neighbourhood every year. It’s amazing what accumulates over the winter.
We participate in our local shoreline cleanup.

I spent some time outdoors(at zero) cleaning up some flower beds and pitying my crocuses.
I will unplug all unused electronics and ensure lights and devices are always turned off when not in use!
