We’ll be traveling to Calgary to see my parents and some family will be visiting from England but other than that we’ll stay in the city most of the time.
Since we are going to be spending lots of time outside and going for long walks and hikes I am very excited to be wearing my new Skechers GOWalk 4 shoes this summer. The GoWalk sneakers are super comfortable and perfect for walking and to keep up with my busy boys. They are so lightweight too. The perfect summer shoe!
The boys also have some new fun shoes to wear this summer. The kid’s Energy Lights from Skechers are the coolest shoes ever! They have light up soles that change colour, including seven solid colours, blinking lights and more. The perfect shoes to make your little one stand out in the crowd and to show off their personalities as they can pick their
These are the perfect shoes to make your little one stand out in the crowd at the playground and to show off their personalities as they can pick their favourite color themselves. They also come with a USB cable and you can recharge the battery yourself. So neat!
The boys have been wearing these non-stop!
What are your plans for the summer break? Are you staying in the city or traveling somewhere?

Those are awesome shoes!! and yours look comfortable as well!! sounds like your going to have a great summer, I will be doing nothing, but that is fine with me..lol
Those look really comfy and I love the kids light up ones!
I really like those Skechers that you are wearing, they would go super well with my outfit for my son’s wedding. We have to hike 1 or 2 km to the actual site so the shoes have to be very comfy for me to survive without blisters. 🙂
I love your Skechers. Skechers are my go to brand for comfort. My daughter is coming come for a 20 year high school reunion and we are taking a road trip together.
first of all your boys are SOOO adorable! Secondly love that list of fun outdoor activities. I have it bookmarked so i can come back to it when need be. First thing I would love to do with my girls is build an outdoor fort 🙂
When will you be in Calgary?! If you need any recommendations for things to do and see, let me know!
Love those shoes!!
This is a great list of activities, sounds like it would not only tire the kids out but me too 🙂
Great post, great shoes! Love the list, adding a few of your ideas to mine!
So much fun to be discovered outdoors…and family bonding!
today we visited a new splash pad in the next town over….well impressed!
All really great ideas for fun and easy bonding time with the kids! I love these shoes too!
Kids always love shoes with flashing lights don’t’ they? My grandson has these rollies or whatever you call them (just checked and they are Heelys), he loves them.
I found summers so relaxing when the children were young. They usually went to camp for a week and they enjoyed that. Then, we bought a small trailer and moved it down to a family campground for the summer. My husband would stay overnight and Sundays. We usually stayed for two weeks I am not sure what our children enjoyed more-swimming at the beach or the small canteen! They had hay rides, and campfires during the evening to toast marshmallows.
I love sketchers. I have two pairs of running shoes from them and they both just fit so well,
Great ideas.. it is so important to get the kids outdoors and away from screens! And those Energy Lights sneakers are so fun!
These are really good suggestions. We love taking advantage of the non-rainy weather! And really, it’s the only time here that we can wear fun shoes like the energy lights pair so it makes it even that much more special.
