I remember going a bit crazy when I was pregnant and purchasing tons of new maternity pant and tops to wear. Maternity wear is not cheap and to be completely honest I didn’t end up wearing them too many times.  After wearing them a few times only they ended up somewhere in my closet collecting dust.

Polished Mama products have been designed specifically for moms and moms-to-be.  They are safe for use during pregnancy and they are water-based.

Polished Mama nail polish doesn’t have any harmful fumes and it is non-toxic (no toluene, xylene, formaldehyde, ethyl acetate, acetone or dibutyl phthalate). I love that I can use it inside the house even if my son is in the same room without having to worry about the strong odor of regular nail polish and the dangerous fumes.

I picked the “Craving” nail polish and I loved the gorgeous pink. The application was fast and easy, the only new thing that I added to my regular manicure routine was using a blow dryer to help speed the drying process and to allow for the polish to harden properly for maximum chip resistance.

If you choose to not use a blow dryer then try to do your nails before bed time so you allow extra time for the polish to cure and harden on its own.

I also applied the Polished Mama Base Coat & Top Coat and my nails lasted almost two weeks without chipping. That is a LONG time since I usually change nail colors once a week or more if I use any other product.

Be aware that the consistence of the nail polish is a bit thicker than the common nail polish and you will have to shake the bottle well before you apply it to allow for any tiny clumps to separate. I had no issues after shaking the bottle.

I found my nails looked extra shiny and shimmery after applying the Top Coat,  super pretty!  When it came time to remove the nail polish I used the gentle Polished Mama Moisturizing Remover and I enjoyed the light scent of coconut and lemongrass.
