Are you familiar with Critical Illness Insurance? If you don’t know anything about it, you are not alone. I was recently introduced to it by iClick Financial Services, and I was shocked to realize I was not aware of this type of insurance before, how it actually works, and how easy it is to set it up.
iClick Financial Services is a female-owned and operated business that has partnered with a leading Canadian insurance provider to provide fully online Critical Illness Insurance in under 5 minutes. No sales calls or medical exams. Just a guarantee of $25,000 of coverage in a couple of minutes.
Critical Illness Insurance is often mistaken as part of employer provided insurance, such as disability insurance. However, it is often not included in employee packages. The beauty of it is that you don’t have to be off work or even employed outside of the home to qualify and receive benefits. So you can be a stay-at-home mom or work from home mom and still be able to get benefits.
I know that thinking about critical illness and what would happen if you get critically ill is not a pleasant topic. However, preparing yourself for the unexpected is always a smart move and something that will benefit you and your loved ones in the future.
Illness often comes without warning, and it can change your situation quickly. As a busy, active mom, I can’t even imagine how difficult it would be to take care of the boys, maintain the house, and do my work from home if I had to deal with some major illness. Worrying about childcare expenses and paying for any help needed around the house with cooking, groceries, homework, etc. I can imagine all the extra expenses adding up fast!
Having Critical Illness Insurance gives you some peace of mind and will allow you to focus on your recovery.
Signing up for Critical Illness Insurance through iClick Financial Services is so easy. On their website, it takes just a few minutes to provide some basic information and get approved right away. The minimum guaranteed coverage is $25,000, and you can spend the money any way you want. For example, to help with your mortgage, childcare, food delivery, or anything else you need.
There is no wait to get approval from the insurance company, no medical exams, and no sales calls. You get approved right away and are covered immediately. If you are diagnosed with cancer, heart conditions, or 20 other serious life-altering illnesses, you will receive a lump-sum payment. The insurance company writes you a cheque.
I love the convenience of not having to leave my home to sign up! Instead, you can do it from your computer, in minutes.
We have pet insurance as dog owners and got it right away after we got our dog. However, we have never planned to get Critical Illness insurance, and at approx. $30 per month, Critical Illness Insurance is less than what we pay for our dog’s insurance! Isn’t that wild? Sometimes we overlook our own health as parents and forget about preparing for the unexpected ourselves.

Life can change in a minute. You don’t really think of these things until it affects you personally, but we should all be prepared. Sadly, two of my immediate family members have terminal illnesses – one of which was completely unexpected. It has definitely changed our outlook on well, pretty much everything.
I know we should have this kind of insurance, but we don’t. I will check it out. Thanks

I’ve had this in place for over a decade; its been a peace of mind product for me and the family. And frankly, everyone should have it (especially the “breadwinner” in any family). Your employers benefit plan can provide you with short or long term disability, BUT its only a percentage of what you earn and lasts only so long.
Critical Illness Insurance is usually not part of employer benefits but it is simple and convenient to get. Visit

Critical insurance is important. You don’t realize how useful it could be until something happens to you or your spouse.
