During the summer we do lots of swimming and hikes at our conservation areas.
We love to go to the local play parks and hiking trails. On rainy days we get into one of our great boardgames.
Going to the lake has always been part of the kids’ summer.
Swimming and long walks with the grandchildren and games in the evening.
Going to the park with a picnic always works well for us
We love getting together for game night.
In the evening when it’s cooler we enjoy board games. During the day if the temperature/humidity permits we take walks along the river.

I spend a lot of time at the lake with my grandchildren, we love to swim and kayak . We hit may parks and playgrounds and hike Ferry Island and Howe Creek. I have so much fun with all of them all summer long .
Our go-to activities are swimming, hiking, art and DIY craft projects, blowing bubbles, and family board games.
Going to the park or the beach. On rain days, playing board games.
We go swimming, play outside with our dogs, and we play a lot of card and board games.
Summer days we like to get out and hike or bike.
I bought the kids an above ground pool (18 ft. around x 3 ft. high) and it’s been a boredom lifesaver the past couple of summers! We also like visiting new parks. Thanks for the chance to win!

A trip to the library!
Our grandson comes to stay with us for a couple of weeks over the summer, we take him to the local parks enjoying bike rides through the trails, strolls along the beach, swimming, mini golf, frisbee golf, and Clifton Hills Midway in Niagara Falls.

We go for walks, bike ride and of course hit the swimming pool.
We love to go to the beach, splash pads, the library, the grandparents’ place, and the museum!

The thing we are all looking forward to is going to the CNE for the first time in years!

We like to go swimming, ride bikes and just play in the backyard. Croquet is a family favourite.

We do alot of camping during the summer holidays. If we arent camping I have enroll the kids in swimming lessons
Sprinkler, trampoline, board games and road trips are our go-tos.

We tend to go on a roadtrip to explore a surrounding city/town.

Anything with water. So balloons, water guns, pools, floaties, races with water cups. Anything to keep them cool and not bored.
We will spend lots of time at the local park, rainy days will be with Lego and board games
puzzles and games at the cottage. Also crafts, have a cubby full of supplies always!
Our go-to activity is an outdoor obstacle race course that we build and challenge each other.

I like to go for walks with my grandchildren. I do gardening which is great exercise and of course excellent fresh produce to eat. I enjoy barbecuing and reading a book on my deck. Also entertaining and having barbecues with friends and family.
Lots of trail walks with ice cream stops. The library also has some great programming for those rainy days.
Each summer we love going to the CNE, and sometimes we like going to Stratford Ontario

On aime beaucoup la baignade avec les petits-enfants et le petits voyages de pêche toute la famille
I have my 2 grandkids all summer. They are 8 and 10. We play a lot of outdoor games like dart throwing in a ring, and a large size Yahtzee game, we explore the back hard which is treed and rocky for rare-looking critters, plants and other unique items that grow in the forest. We like catching baby toads and frogs and then releasing them. If it is raining, we play some old board games I have from my 2 sons, Yahtzee is one on paper, Rings on Fingers, Checkers, and others.

In the summer me and my daughter like to go to the beach, eat icecream, play video games and board games, ride a bike, or go for a walk. 🙂
The kids in my life (relatives) love going to the park in the summertime. We also like to play with water toys outside or board games inside.
We love outdoor water gun fights, especially at the beach. We play basketball in our driveway and have “playoffs” between us. We also do a summer scavenger hunt at the beach which is so much fun! Rainy day movies, bake-offs, writing mad libs, and board games are also super fun!
My children will be doing swimming lessons and a trip to a cottage this summer
