If you are looking for high-quality back-to-school gear, I am sharing a full review of the Thule Lithos backpack.
Thule, founded in 1942 in Sweden, designs and manufactures roof racks, bike, water, and winter sport carriers, roof boxes, computer, camera bags, sports bags and backpacks, and child-related products such as baby joggers, child bike seats, and bike trailers.
We have a Thule bike trailer on our vehicle that we use all the time, as we are a family of mountain bikers, but this was the first time trying out one of their backpacks.
The Thule Lithos backpack is a modern laptop backpack with a secure flap closure (with a hidden buckle closure) to store all your essentials safely.
My oldest son saw the backpack and claimed it for himself immediately. He loves it! The backpack is stylish and modern, and the light blue/dark slate grey colour is eye-catching and fun.
We love that the backpack has lots of pockets. Dedicated padded pockets allow you to carry your 16″ Macbook or 14″ PC, and up to a 10.5″ tablet.
The padded pockets make it a solid backpack that makes it easy to carry your devices safely.
There is also a zippered interior mesh pocket to store accessories/cables and locate them quickly.
The backpack also features a back panel stash pocket to secure smaller items.
We also really like the side pocket to keep a water bottle accessible as you are on the go. The pocket is large enough to allow our large stainless steel bottle to fit easily.
Carrying a laptop and other devices in your backpack can make the backpack feel heavy on your shoulders. Thankfully the Thule Lithos backpack has a padded back panel and padded shoulder straps that make it super comfortable to carry, no matter how heavy things are inside.
The Lithos backpack is made of polyester ripstop, a water-repelling fabric that is durable and lightweight. It rains so much in Vancouver, so the water-repelling material is a big plus.
My son is excited to take his new backpack to school this year. The backpack is comfortable to carry, has enough space and pockets for all his needs, and is made with high-quality materials.

I absolutely love the compartments. Weatherproof is a massive bonus. Not only for weather, but for all of those puddles and splash pads.

I find that it was the hardest for my kids to pick the right back pack each year. This one looks great.
Gone are the days of binders full of paper. Tablets back and forth now, great bag for all the necessary items.
