• Friday, December 6, 2024

Location:  BC Place, Vancouver, BC (777 Pacific Boulevard, Vancouver, BC V6B 4Y8)

🚌 Getting to the venue

Whenever possible walk, bike, or take transit to and from downtown; expect delays, so leave early and be patient. There are other big events happening downtown on Friday and Sunday, so be prepared for extra delays.

ARRIVING BY CAR

Are you driving? This one is the least recommended as there will be road closures, traffic will be heavy, and parking rates are costly. But if you need to drive you can click the link below to find nearby parking lots and event rates. You can reserve parking ahead of time (costly), but it is highly recommended to avoid headaches on the day.

NOTE: Various road closures will be in effect from noon until midnight on Friday, December 6, Saturday December 7 and Sunday, December 8.  

• 700 and 800 blocks of Beatty Street between Smithe Street and West Georgia Street  
• Pacific Boulevard from the Cambie Bridge off-ramp to Pat Quinn Way 
• Northbound Cambie Street Bridge off-ramp 
• 100 block of Robson Street between Cambie Street and Beatty Street. 

ARRIVING BY BUS

Translink has a wide selection of routes that service the area surrounding the stadium. For updated info on routes and to plan your trip, utilize the official TransLink’s trip planner. You can also download the Transit app we locals use for up-to-date schedules. 

ARRIVING BY SKYTRAIN/ SEABUS FROM NORTH VANCOUVER

Accessing BC Place from the Stadium/Chinatown Skytrain Station:

• Upon exiting the Skytrain, walk up the stairs to Beatty Street and turn left.
• Gate A, B and H are approximately a five-minute walk up Beatty Street.
• Alternatively, upon exiting the Skytrain head down the stairs to Expo Boulevard and the Stadium is a five minute walk to the right.

Accessing BC Place from the Yaletown/Roundhouse Canada Line Station:

• Upon exiting the Station, walk along Mainland Street toward the northeast direction, passing Helmcken, Nelson, and Smithe Streets. Turn right onto Robson Street.

• Dress appropriately for the weather—layers are a must, and bring a coat to stay warm and dry in Vancouver’s cool, wet conditions. Yup, it looks like rain for some nights, but the weather changes all the time, so keep checking. A disposable poncho is a must! (These have next-day delivery if you still need some)
• Choose sustainable transportation methods like walking, biking, using Mobi bikes, or taking public transit whenever possible.
• Stay informed about road closures at vancouver.ca/road-closures.
• Follow posted detours and respect “No Parking” signs in the area.
• Please help keep our beautiful city clean by using the nearest trash or recycling bins or taking your waste home.
• Be mindful of local neighbours and keep noise levels low when leaving events.
