Hipkiddo One Size Cloth Diaper and Insert |
I recently received one Hipkiddo One Size Cloth Diaper to review. These pocket diapers are made by a local Canadian company. I love discovering and featuring new and local companies and I was very happy to try one of their diapers.
This One Size diaper has snaps to adjust the rise, legs and waist and I was able to get a pretty good fit for my little boy. I really like that his tights didn’t have any marks after using it for a couple of hours.

Stuff the insert and tuck it under the flap |
Hipkiddo’s inserts are wider than other pocket diapers I own. The pocket opens from the back of the diaper and I like that it is wide enough to make it easy to stuff the insert. They also have an inner flap where you can tuck the diaper so the insert stays in place. I personally didn’t really use it as it would be a bit messy to get the insert out when dealing with a poopy diaper.

The inside of the diaper is made of 100% polyester micro-fleece and it wicks moisture away from my son’s skin, keeping him dry until I the next diaper change.
I didn’t get any leaking while using it during the day. I tried it for a couple of nights but my son doesn’t sleep more than 4 hours in a row and I had to change it then. I usually change all of my pockets at the same time anyway as the only diapers that can go the night without changes are my bamboo diapers.
In general I had a good experience with their diapers. One thing to consider is their price (only $8 each). These are the cheapest pocket diapers I have seen around. If I was starting my stash again I would definitively get some Hipkiddos in the mix.
Their Company also supports a local organization called Stepping Stones. It is always great to see Companies giving back! Good for them!
Win it: Hipkiddo Cloth Diapers has generously offered one of my lucky readers anywhere in the world a chance to win One of their Hipkiddo One Size Cloth Diapers.
