Calling all Star Wars fans! We had the opportunity to attend the Force Friday event at Best Buy (Cambie) in Vancouver the morning (happening from 9 am – 1 pm) and got a sneak peek of the brand new Star Wars toys just released. Super exciting as we look forward to the upcoming release of Star Wars Episode 8 in a few months.

NEW Sphero Droids

We are big fans of Sphero products and already own the first generation BB-8 droid.  The new BB-8 includes a new standing base and the charging base looks different from the old one but other than the droid looks pretty much the same as the first gen one. The two new droids are super fun to drive and a good addition to your Sphero collection.

O.k these were our favourite toys from the ones we played with today. The drones are so much fun! They can do tricks, go up to 35mph and they can even land smoothly. A big hit with my boys!  You get about 7-8 minutes of fly time per charge and they come with two batteries.  They also come in a special numbered edition collector box that lights up and plays memorable soundtracks, and comes with a USB charging cord for the collectors box.
