ABCmouse.com – Learning Site for Kids! {Holiday Gift Idea – Giveaway}

Abcmouse.com is a fun new online interactive learning site for kids aged 2-6 years old. The site is divided into six levels, from Preschool to Kindergarten, including an area for toddlers (2 year olds).  This subscription based website allows you to create profiles for up to three children per subscription and save their progress and lesson plan in their own profile.

The website has over 450 lessons and over 3,000 individual learning activities for children. Including subjects such as reading, arts, math, music, geography, science and more! The site is also child safe with no advertising, pop-up ads or external links.

After signing up for an account you get access to tutorial videos that explain how to easily set up lesson plans and find your way around the site. I like the easy instructions for parents.

I received a complementary membership to the site to try it out and I love the fact that I can log in whenever I want to find educational and fun activities for my son. An ABCmouse.com membership allows you to use their program in your computer or in your iPhone/iPad (you have to download their free app first).

I much prefer my son using an iPad as he is not very familiar with using my laptop’s mouse and I already have a bunch of educational apps installed in the iPad. We usually take the iPad with us when we go travel or long car trips etc. A paid subscription to ABCmouse.com would definitively be the perfect gift for keeping kids occupied during holiday travels!

My son is 3-years-old and he loves the read-along books, colouring activities, puzzles, playing music videos and number and alphabet games. He loves picking a new activity when we sign up and I like knowing that he is developing different skills while playing.

The subscription ABCmouse.com is just $79 a year or $7.95 a month. There are so many activities and lesson plans available! I highly recommend you visit their website if you have young children at home and you are looking for educational teaching tools that are fun and age appropriate.
