Music is a big part of our family life. My husband is in the business of creating and making synthesizers (musical instruments) and we listen to music together as a family everyday. I remember since our first son was inside my tummy we played music for him to listen to. Some of the songs we played back then were key to help sooth him when he was an infant and five years later some are still favourites.
Both of our boys really love music, especially songs that are sung to them by us. Singing together is an amazing way to bond as a family and to help calm them when they are fussy or lighten their mood when they are not happy. Dancing is another wonderful thing to share with them. I love dancing with the boys while playing our favourite music, feeling their happiness as they are twirling around in time with one of our favourite tunes is priceless.
Meet some of our favourite children’s music singers: Bobs & LoLo. We first met Bobs & LoLo on T.V. a few years ago. Since then we’ve been to many of their live shows and both boys love their music and performances. They always dance and sing and are so excited when they see them!
The charismatic musical duo features music that is engaging, educational and teaches children about caring for the planet, themselves and for others! Their completely infectious tunes are guaranteed to get trapped in your head. We LOVE their happy, positive lyrics.
If you have watched any of their shows then you know that they are always filled with happy little ones and their families dancing and singing along to their fun tunes.
Lately we have been dancing and singing along Bobs & LoLo’s brand new album titled Dirty Feet. Their new album was just released on July 31, and can be purchased digitally at iTunes, at retail stores (HMV), and from the Bobs & LoLo webstore.
The new album has so many great songs. Our favourite “Dirty Feet” is our new summer anthem! Isn’t the video super fun?!! The boys love it!

We really enjoy Bobs & LoLo’s live shows and just saw them live at the Whistler’s Children Festival a few weekends ago. We can’t wait to see them live again soon!
