I am a big fan of Smile Brilliant products. I’ve been using their Electric Toothbrush for many years, and I love how it keeps my teeth clean and plaque-free.
Smile Brilliant’s oral care products are custom-formulated with the latest research to improve oral care through natural science and innovation. Their lab-direct process makes achieving professional results at an affordable price easy. In the last few years, they’ve taken this model and expanded their line of oral health products to include something for everyone – from the newest in the cariPRO line – a cordless water flosser that allows for easy and effective cleaning to a custom night guard system to protect the teeth from nighttime grinding.
I recently had the chance to try out their new dental probiotics and I am so happy to share a bit of information about these with you.
Have you heard about dental probiotics before?
Dental probiotics allow healthy bacteria in the mouth and sinuses, help crowd out harmful bacteria, and improve your body’s ability to fight decay, disease, and infection. They are beneficial in many body areas, particularly for skincare & dental care. Like other types, dental probiotics shift the balance of the existing bacterial composition (microbiome) toward an increased population of “good bacteria”, improving the overall health & fortitude of the area.
I’ve been taking probiotics for my gut health for years but never heard about dental probiotics before. So now I take one chewable tablet a day to help my mouths get healthier: reduced plaque & tartar, have fewer cavities, less gum inflammation and more. That protection extends to the ear, nose & throat, providing immune support & protection against viruses and developing infections (sinus & ear). You can even get oral probiotics for kids.
This extra immune support and protection are so important, especially important during the cold season. I am so happy to be taking these and plan to get some for the kids as well.
You can learn more about Dental Probiotics and order on their website.

I learned a few new things like not to use mouthwash with alcohol and one in four people have bad breath. I knew that hand sanitizer has alcohol and that it kills both the good and bad germs but I never thought about mouthwash doing the same thing in our mouths.
