Twilight Turtle Tunes™ from Cloud b {Review & Giveaway}

I recently received a Twilight Turtle Tunes™ from Cloud b to try. This cuddly little turtle projects a starry night sky with 8 real constellations, glows in blue, amber and green and plays melodies that can be customized to play wirelessly using the  Twilight Turtle Tunes’ speaker via bluetooth.

By using the new free Cloud b app, parents can choose from a pre-set library of melodies and sounds that can be combined to create a customized mix to play wirelessly via Twilight Turtle Tunes’ speaker Twilight Turtle Tunes™ from Cloud b.

I use the Twilight Turtle Tunes™ at night time in my 7-month-old’s room and he is usually mesmerized. Here’s a video of the first time he saw the stars on the wall a few months ago.  The video was taken during his afternoon nap so the room was not dark enough but you can still see the projection.

When I first tried it in his room at night time I was fascinated, such a lovely projection of actual star constellations, almost magical.

The Twilight Turtle Tunes is also a fantastic tool to ease fear of the dark, perfect for toddlers and older children.

I love that you can program the melody and star projection and combine sounds to create a custom mix.  I wish their premium app that allows you to use more melodies and sounds was included for free but $1.99 is not bad to be able to record you own melodies or storytelling and play them to the Cloud b’s background melodies.

I find my son sleeps better when there are white noise or nature sounds playing in the room and the added star projection helps getting him drowsy and falling asleep on his own.

The Twilight Turtle also features a light timer and it includes Li-On rechargeable batteries and AC adaptor, the batteries needs re-charging every 6 hours of play time.

I recommend the Twilight Turtle Tunes is your little one enjoys sound machines for sleeping, they will definitively enjoy the added projections. It’s also perfect for toddlers who are afraid of the dark and need a night-light to sleep. The projections will keep them entertained and happy.
