I really enjoy taking photos of my children. I have an Instagram account and I am constantly snapping sweet everyday moments with my iPhone. I also have a DSLR and I love that I can sync it with my iPhone wirelessly to share the images on Instagram instantly.
Just the other morning I grabbed my DSLR and took some beautiful shots of my children. My pre-schooler was in his room telling me about which toy he was going to take to school for show and tell and my youngest was playing in his ExerSaucer. I enjoyed capturing those sweet, real, everyday moments – mundane moments that make up our days and are special to us.
A few weeks ago I received a BLACKS gift card to experience their printing services and I knew that I wanted to do something special with the sweet photos I took that day. I browsed the BLACKS.CA website and decided to turn the following photos into Wall Art:
Using the BLACKS.CA Photo Centre builder I was able to personalize our Wall Art. I uploaded all of the photos using my computer, cropped them, changed their size and picked all the unique details in regards to style, canvas sizing, orientation and more. My photos didn’t need any effects or edits other than cropping but if you do have photos that need some editing you can even apply red eye correction using the BLACKS.CA website.
I ended up picking a wrapped around canvas (12×12) for one of my son’s photos and I did a poster collage (8×12) for the remaining photos of my two boys; I liked how they all looked together in the collage.
The process was simple and within a few minutes I was ready to order my new Wall Art. I had the choice to pick up my order at their store or to get it conveniently delivered to my place, which I did. One week later my order was ready and I received the package in the mail. Everything came carefully packaged to ensure it arrived in perfect condition.
I must say that the quality of the canvas is extraordinary and I love how beautiful the colours look in person. The canvas is stunning and we decided to hang it in our bedroom’s wall. It is really lovely to wake up in the mornings to see my son’s little smiley face on the wall.
The poster collage was also just what I wanted, the colours pop out of the photos and the quality is amazing; we ended up framing it and hanging it in our living room.
Overall my BLACKS experience was wonderful and I found their website and ordering/processing tool very easy to use, I experienced fast shipping and I received high quality products. I love pictures on canvas and your boys are no exception. One of my granddaughters gave her Mother, my daughter, of her two small children. Like you, I was amazed at the richness of the colors. It was a precious and beautiful picture on canvas of two precious and beautiful children.
