The Little Mermaid is one of my favourite family films of all time and I love it every single time I watch it, a beautiful classic!
I had a chance to receive the new Diamond Edition Blu-Ray Combo Pack that’s coming out on October 1st and I must say that I enjoyed what they did to restore the film and bring it back to life again.
The Little Mermaid centers around a free-spirited and fun-loving mermaid, who is off on the adventure of a lifetime with her best friends at her side. She longs to be a part of the human world but things are not as easy as they seem. This is a great story of perseverance, determination and courage.
I highly recommend this film if you haven’t seen it or if you are a fan and want to watch it again with your own children/grandchildren.
This digitally restored film features more vibrant colours and crisp high definition sound. My 3-year-old and I enjoyed watching the film and all of the extras, including the never before seen deleted scenes, sing along Crab-E-OKE and the music video for “Part of Your World” performed by Carly Rae Jepsen.
I really appreciate that Disney is bringing back the classics to allow a whole new generation to watch them in high quality, giving my child the chance to watch and enjoy the same movies I watched when I was little.
The Diamond Edition is only available for a limited time so be sure to get your own copy on October 1st. This family friendly film would definitively make a great stocking stuffer or Holiday gift for the family.

My daughter loves the Little mermaid! I should think about getting her this for Christmas
I loved the Little Mermaid 🙂 Apparently my mom took me to theatres in 1992, but I don’t really remember it. lol. We used to watch this VHS tape so often. Ariel was one of my favourites.

Great holiday gift idea!
I see The Little Mermaid as myself. She was my favorite growing up and a favorite of many people with my disease. Here’s my recent observation. When I was little, my wish was to miraculously have legs that would help me walk. Ariel was granted that wish. I think as children we make connections to characters we relate to. She is my character, even as an adult.
I remember taking my daughter when this first appeared in the theatres some 25ish years ago. It was awesome then as now
I always wondered why they did this… duh! I love the idea that they are brightening them up and making them high def. This is one of my, and my daughter’s favourite, movies!
This would make a great Christmas gift
This is a lovely family movie,I love all the Disney classics.
My daughter loved these movies and now my granddaughter does
No matter how many movies my granddaughter watches she always comes back to the little mermaid.
