The beginning of a new year is often filled with optimism, fresh starts, and a new list of must-read books.
I love putting together a list of books to read, and below is my list of best-sellers to read during these first few months of 2023.
I finished reading Reckless Girls by Rachel Hawkins, and loved it. Such a fun, thrilling adventure story. Read it in just a couple of days. I also loved The Silent Patient by Alex Michelins , and It Ends with Us by Coleen Hoover, both hard to put down once I started.
Right now, I am listening to Spare by Prince Harry, and enjoying his tell-all, honest memoir. I love that the author (Prince Harry) reads it.
I can’t wait to make my way through my list below. I am excited to share it with you as well.

The Light We Carry was a DNF for me, which is a rarity and completely surprised me. I love listening to her speak, but this one was not my style at all. I am patiently waiting to be at the top of the library hold list for Spare. (I was really surprised at how much I appreciated the Harry & Meghan documentary.)The Berry Pickers is another I really want to get my hands on.

Hi Angela,
Thanks for sharing your list of must-read books for 2023! I recently finished reading “Reckless Girls” by Rachel Hawkins, and I completely agree with you – it’s a thrilling adventure story that was hard to put down. “The Silent Patient” by Alex Michaelides and “It Ends with Us” by Colleen Hoover are also on my radar, and your positive reviews have bumped them up on my reading list.
I’m currently immersed in “Spare” by Prince Harry, and like you, I appreciate the authenticity that comes with the author narrating his own story. It adds a personal touch that makes the memoir even more engaging. I am working on its review for my college project, so I searched for help online and found this discussion https://www.quora.com/Is-EduBirdie-legit that helped me a lot, and in the end I decided to hire a writer.
Your list for January 2023 is diverse and intriguing, especially “The House in the Pines” and “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo.” I’m looking forward to exploring these captivating reads and will definitely share my thoughts once I’ve delved into them.
Happy reading to you too, and thanks again for the fantastic recommendations!
