This year one of our family resolutions is to watch more educational documentaries together. There are many amazing documentaries that can be streamed via Netflix and it is wonderful to have them all easily accessible.
One of those documentaries we are planning to watch together is “Planet Earth“. I’ve watched some episodes in the past and loved them but this time we are streaming all episodes from the start to watch as a family. The boys enjoy watching documentaries and there are so many wonderful things to learn from this series.
Filmed over five years by 71 camera operators in 62 countries, “Planet Earth” exposes the natural wonders of each continent, featuring jungles, caves, mountains, plains and more. This groundbreaking production is narrated by Sir David Attenborough and it won four Emmys, including Outstanding Nonfiction Series.
We’ll be busy watching this 11-part series this year as we are hoping to watch an episode a week. Totally looking forward to introducing the boys to the wonders of Planet Earth!
What must watch shows are you streaming this year?

Sounds like a super interesting show. Right now I’m watching Once Upon a Time.
I must tell Hubby about this series im sure he would enjoy it ! thanks
wonderful show I always watch it when I get the chance
We do not have netflix as yet but it would be well worth it to see all the Planet Earth Series. I cannot conceive of anyone wanting to live on Mars after living on this marveleous and beautiful planet. I guess you would have to have a complete dedication to science to do something like that.
In the meantime, if the Planet Earth Series comes to our TV, I will watch with satisfaction and wonder.
