The summer break is always lots of fun for the boys, there is no school and a rigid schedule to follow, and they can play outside all the time and enjoy the sun. However, I still like for them to keep learning and practising their skills during the summer months.
Enter educational books. They are wonderful because they keep them entertained and learning at the same time.
We received the latest shipment from DK Canada with some books from their DK findout! series and they are a big hit with my boys. They are filled with colourful images and lots of great information. I got a variety of titles, and they have been loving them. My eldest comes to me with facts he learned, and we have great discussions about different topics in the book.
Below are our picks for this month, all best suited for ages 6 and up, still super interesting and easy to follow because of all the photos for my almost 5-year-old.
