Great Pretenders is an award winning online shop started in 1989 as an umbrella of Creative Education, an organization committed to promoting child education. Just in time for Halloween we were sent a couple of costumes from Great Pretenders for the boys and they absolutely love them. Both of them have been wearing their costumes daily and I have been impressed with the quality of the materials and how affordable they are.

For our almost 3 year old we received the Pirate Set ($30 CDN) and Pirate Wooden Accessory Set. The Pirate Set includes the headband, vest & shirt and red pants. The red, white and black colour theme with skull and crossbones encourage play.

For our 6 year old we received the King /Knight Reversible Set ($32 CDN). The set includes a reversible tunic in blue and silver with emblem for King on one side, and silver with black trims for Knight on the other. Also included is the matching hood and crown.

I love both of the boy’s costumes and the fact that they are made in North America. The costumes are made to last with high quality materials and they will be enjoyed for years to come.
