Tom & Teddy: Swimwear for Men and Boys

Summer has finally arrived!  It is so strange to have had such a cold and rainy start to summer.  After weeks wearing pants we can finally dig out our swimwear and hit the water!  I am excited to share a fun company, Tom & Teddy,  that makes swimwear for all the men in your life from size 1-2 all the way up to men’s sizing.  How fun is that?

So now fathers and sons  or brothers of different age groups can wear matching or coordinating swim trunks!  With multiple different patterns and solids available in similar colour families it is easy to have all your menfolk looking amazing in fun family beach photos.  Because let’s admit if your guys look this cute you will be putting that up on Instagram later, right?  Another fun idea I found on the Tom & Teddy Facebook page was for a beach stag party and the groom and groomsmen all wore matching trunks, with the groom wearing a slightly different colour.

Tom & Teddy uses microfibre fabric that is so super fast drying, because nobody wants to be walking around in clammy swimwear.  The shorts are made to stand up to salt water and chlorine while also providing UV protection.  They have a really nice finish that feels so soft and comfortable.  I inspected the lining and the mesh is  just the perfect weight to dry quickly and let air flow but not have too big of holes to pinch ‘precious bits’.

Because the price is admittedly more that I would usually spend I am pleased to see that the quality and durability of the shorts mean that I will definitely be able to pass them down to my younger son and hubby will get several seasons wear.   When I look at them that way they actually cost less than buying a piece for less but only have it last one season and having to buy a second one later.  Also they ship for free within USA and Canada.  And where else am I honestly ever going to find all this matchy-smatchy goodness? They are perfect for summer at the lake, swimming at the pool and they will be coming with us on our vacation in the fall, so they will see a lot of action and I will feel like I am getting good bang for my buck!

Style wise they are a shorter ‘European length’ swimwear design.  That length between board shorts and James Bond shortie shorts.  They are a bit of a looser fit than a straight leg board short and they are designed to hit around the mid thigh.  With all the fun, bright colours they definitely have a resort kind of vibe.  We chose the blue and orange octopus which has a big bold print on it.  Want something a little more subtle?  Don’t worry they have a line of solids as well!
