Indoor air quality at home is a priority for our family since my husband and two boys suffer from asthma. I am actually allergic to dust as well so having a dust-free home is extremely important. I have to vacuum daily to get rid of dust and allergens and it is crazy to see how much dust is collected every day, even when the floors appear clean to the eye.
I recently received the Dyson V8 Absolute Cord-free Vacuum Cleaner and it has transformed the way I clean my home, it is the most versatile vacuum cleaner I have tried and it does a wonderful job. I love the fact that the Dyson V8 is lightweight and cord-free, so it is easy to carry around the house and pack up it up when I am done. I use it daily to clean my laminate floors, dust around the house and even clean our furniture and the car.

I just absolutely love the V8’s portability and the fact that you can use both the handheld and stick modes to clean down low, up high and everywhere in between. I am happy that I don’t have to push a heavy vacuum cleaner around and I can easily move around the house with it. Like all Dyson vacuums, the V8 is super smooth and easy to handle. The Dyson V8 can also be emptied with the push of a button, no need to deal with replacing bags as everything goes straight into the garbage bin without getting your hands dirty.
The V8 comes with a docking station for charging and its Lithium-ion battery delivers up to 40 minutes of fade free suction, with up to 25 minutes with the motorized floor tool attached.
I don’t have any carpets at home so I use the soft roller cleaner head that picks up large debris and fine dust from hard floors, but the vacuum also comes with a direct drive motor head that has stiff nylon bristles to dig deep into carpets. A variety of attachment are also included with the vacuum, like a mini motorized tool, combination tool, rigid crevice tool, extension hose, mattress tool and a mini soft dusting brush.
The V8 also features an efficient post motor filter that captures allergens and bacteria. And because the entire system is engineered to be sealed, the air that leaves the machine is cleaner than the air you breathe.
I am loving the Dyson V8 vacuum cleaner and the fact that I can clean difficult places from floor to ceiling. I can get to tall difficult to reach spots, underneath my bed and furniture and everywhere else in between, plus the HEPA filter captures allergens and keeps the air clean for my family. With two little messy boys there is always something to clean and vacuuming is now my favourite cleaning task!

This would change my life! LOL. We have two cats – one is long-haired, fluffy and WHITE. Minutes after we vacuum there are tumbleweeds of fluff rolling down the hallway. We also have 12ft ceilings with crown moulding and the cobwebs are so hard to reach. This would really help!!

I have 3 cats and 2 dogs. Our latest dog was just adopted last sunday, It seems to have tripled the amount of pet hair in just 1 week with the stress of all the animals bonding. If my dad’s not at work, he’s constantly cleaning the house ( practically his hobby, because cars are too expensive) and looking at Canadian Tire, Home Depot etc flyers for house hold DIY’s and cleaning stuff on sale. His job is not a very well paying one, so if I can get him a Dyson vacuum for Christmas I’m sure he would be thrilled!
