Coffee and tea lovers rejoice! The new Keurig 2.0 K500 Coffee Brewing System would make a fantastic holiday gift and would be the perfect addition to your wish list this year.

The Keurig 2.0 K500 is stylish and modern, it is a very shiny and fancy unit. With a new touch screen, night light and a pretty cool carafe option it now lets you brew a pot of coffee vs just a single cup. Perfect when brewing coffee for the entire family at the same time or when entertaining, no more single cup brewing equals more free time!

The new system has been designed to read the lid of each K-Cup or K-Carafe pack to brew the perfect cup every single time, it also has customizable settings for specialty beverages such as hot cocoa, mochas and chai lattes, yes you can now drink delicious lattes without leaving your home!!

The new technology is wonderful but it also means that the device can only brew Keurig Brewed seal K-Cups. Not a problem if you are used to purchasing Keurig K-Cups and you don’t use any third party coffee cups. If you purchase bargain third party K-Cups or use a reusable My-K-Cup only then this upgraded unit may not be for you.

I received the new Keurig 2.0 to try and I must say that I am loving the ability to brew a 4-cup carafe at once. The 80 oz water reservoir also means less refills when brewing single-serve cups. The machine also has a customizable night light and offers hot water on demand so I rarely use our kettle anymore.

With the new system you can still choose from over 250 varieties of coffee, tea and specialty beverages, including iced beverages, just look for the Keurig Brewed seal and make sure it says it is compatible with the 2.0 brewer before purchasing.
