I have been a big fan of Breville appliances for many years, and I love how they manage to continue to come up with appliances that combine multiple functions. Their new Combi Wave 3 in 1, combines an Air Fryer, Convection Oven and Microwave in one appliance and I am loving the convenience.
If you are looking for a compact microwave for your kitchen that is big on convenience, then the Combi Wave is for you.
The Breville Combi Wave 3 in 1 has a capacity of 25L, and it is great for cooking, reheating, defrosting and more. You can air fry crispy French fries, cook your next chicken roast (you can roast a full chicken in it!), pop some popcorn for family movie night, grill some cheese sandwiches, warm a homemade soup or reheat last night’s dinner. So many options.
The Combi Wave 3 in 1 features the Element iQ System to create the ideal cooking environment, steering power to where and when it needs it to create the ideal cooking environment. So your food is cooked or reheated to perfection.
The boys love grilled cheese sandwiches and I love that I can get the perfect sandwiches, with crunchy toasted bread and bubbly melted cheese every single time, in just 5 minutes.
The Combi Wave features a Fast Combi function that allows you to cook your food from frozen. I love how it saves a lot of time when I forget to defrost chicken or meat and the fact that it uses the convection oven, grilling and microwave features to cook my food, fast, without overheating and drying out edges.
It is so convenient!
The Combi Wave has Power Smoothing Inverter technology that does away with the old ON-OFF method to automatically adjust power intensity and deliver smooth even power when you need more or less. Making it easy to reheat things like pizza slices with the results you want. No soggy pizza allowed anymore. With this smart feature, I can trust that any leftovers I reheat will taste amazing, and they are always heated to the ideal temperature.
A new feature I have been enjoying with the Combi Wave is their soft close door. I love that if I want to go down and reheat something in the middle of the night I am not waking anybody up with the loud door closing noises or the oven clangs. You can also mute all the buttons if you wish and you’ll enjoy even quieter operation.
The Combi Wave 3 in 1 has a shortcut panel hidden on the inside door, filled with some of the most commonly used tasks, easy to access with the touch of a button. You can do things like melt chocolate, soften butter, pop some popcorn, turn the grill, access the child-lock and more!

This is so convenient! Thanks for sharing.
That’s so interesting- what a unique appliance! I love the hidden panel for common items, too!
I love these sorts of combination devices. I’d be doing all sorts of experimentation with that air fry function!
What a great appliance! Perfect for people with smaller kitchens where space is an issue.
That looks pretty cool! We have a small kitchen so it’s perfect.
Wow so many purposes in one device! I like that it could replace my toaster oven and microwave.
I learned a lot about the appliance and will have to look into getting one.
Love that it has a shortcut panel hidden inside the door, genius!
Love the Power Smoothing Inverter technology, just pop something in and it will turn off when done.
So many features, because space is a premium in my home, I like that it could replace my toaster oven and microwave.
Very versatile oven
Where in Australia can you buy it

Hello! I was wondering if it was safe to use a splatter guard with this unit?
I like the air fryer option. Great small yet mighty appliance!
Hi, is there a way to use this to toast breads?
This would be wonderful. We need a new microwave right now. I absolutely love the bonuses, especially the airfryer!
Hi Angela – I’m so interested in buying one of these devices but have been somewhat put off by a lot of negative reviews regarding the airfryer function not being as effective as a dedicated airfryer.
The real question I have is can you replace a toaster with it? I’ve recently moved into an apartment that doesn’t have a dedicated space for a toaster – I’d LOVE the convenience of another appliance I can eliminate – thanks!
