Maty’s Healthy Products for Baby {Review}

I am very picky with the skin care products I use for my two boys. My youngest has eczema and my oldest has very delicate skin so anything that I purchase for them must contain no phthalates, fragrances, artificial colours or preservatives. I am often searching for products that contain natural ingredients and that don’t expose my children to unnecessary toxins.

I received samples of their Natural Baby Chest Rub and Baby Ointment to try and I have been loving both.

Maty’s All Natural Baby Chest Rub (Petroleum & Menthol Free)

Their Natural Baby Chest Rub is made with pure ingredients. It contains NO phthalates, fragrances, hydrogenated oils, artificial colors, preservatives, mineral oils, gluten or chemicals.

The all natural baby chest rub helps relive baby’s cough and congestion naturally without it being too strong, as it contains no petroleum and it’s menthol free. The Lavender and Chamomile mix also helps soothe little ones and allows baby to relax so they can sleep better.

A few nights ago I tried this one with my youngest who had a lingering cough from his last cold and I noticed it helped soothe him and fall asleep again.

I am sure I will be using the Maty’s Natural Baby Chest Rub a lot during the winter as cold/flu season is just beginning!

Maty’s All natural Petroleum Free Baby Ointment

Looking for a petroleum-free alternative to Vaseline? Our Dr. recommended using Vaseline for our son instead of regular diaper rash cream and as a moisturizer because of his eczema. I dislike using ointments containing petroleum so the Maty’s Baby Ointment has been a great alternative that we have all been using daily.

The Maty’s Baby Ointment contains no parabens, phthalates, fragrances, hydrogenated oils, artificial colors, preservatives, mineral oils, gluten or chemicals. It helps moisturize the skin and it also creates a moisture barrier without the greasy feel.

I tried the Baby Ointment for my dry elbows that I always get at this time of year and my skin was soft and smooth after applying. Love it!
