TV time at home for our pre-schooler is limited, he doesn’t watch regular TV with commercial breaks and we are careful with what he watches. Having a subscription to Netflix means we can easily browse and select shows that we approve and we can stream them without having to worry about commercials or setting up show recordings.
Netflix also has a “Kids” area focusing on Kids Movies and TV shows that we love. It is great to be able to see all of the kid friendly options in one place.
Here is a list of some shows that are great for pre-schoolers. We love Monster Math Squad, Super Why!, Signing Time, Animal ABCs and LeapFrog:Numbers Ahoy because they are all educational and fun. The other shows in the list are also good safe options when he wants to watch something different. Thomas & Friends and Curios George are great classics that never fail to entertain!

My kids are limited in what they are allowed to watch but certainly my little guys love various Treehouse, Disney Jr. and PBS shows.
My niece loves Toopy & Binoo. My preference would be not to watch commercials – as little time as possible on the tv as possible
I like that Netflix has a “Kids” area, my son’s been thinking of getting Netflix for themselves and the kids. I don’t like watching commercials myself so why should kids have to watch them? I’m not sure what my grandchildren like to watch these days, they don’t get to watch much TV.
Grandkids love Toopy and Binoo, no commercials it would be even better
My son loves watching dinosaur train, but they don’t really get a lot of TV time unless someone is sick or it’s super rainy outside. I do prefer no commercials though.
Some of the commercials shown during the day blow me away. I won’t watch FOX anymore. A few years ago they were airing commercials for the most horrifying movies in between cartoons….then it was their programming. Jerry Springer after school….really? They may have changed that, but they lost me anyway. My little one watches shows on treehouse, disney, and netflix. Her favorites include, Mickey mouse clubhouse, toopy & binoo, and dinopaws.
Netflix is so awesome and perfect for the entire family.
