Multo Intelligent Cooking System [Product Review]

I am a big fan of trying out kitchen appliances that make cooking easier and faster. I also love all-in-one kitchen appliances that replace multiple appliances because kitchen counter space is precious in any kitchen. 

Enter the Multo Intelligent Cooking System.

 

What is Multo?

Multo replaces multiple appliances, including a food processor, scale, steamer, kneading machine, slow cooker, mixer, blender, rice cooker, yoghurt maker, electric kettle, frying pan, egg cooker, and sous-vide cooker. Yes, you can do all that with its 15 cooking functions in ONE modern cooking appliance. 

Because Multo cooks at multiple levels, thanks to its attachments, you can cook an entire meal simultaneously. You can, for example, saute, grind, mix, or keep warm, while steaming something simultaneously. 

On top of making things easier to prep and cook in your kitchen, Multo cleans itself afterwards. With its self-cleaning mode, you simply rinse and put it away after use. I love this convenience and time-saving. Using one device to cook everything means getting rid of multiple pots to clean at the end of dinner. So helpful! 

Multo comes with a tablet that allows you to navigate recipes and functions easily and control them. I love that the touch-screen makes it easy to navigate and find what you need.

You can navigate through a collection of photo and video-guided recipes using the tablet. All available step-by-step photo and video recipes can be made with Multo. Including new recipes added every month from all sorts of international cuisines. Recipes include the following categories: Breakfast, Mains, Sides, Desserts, Soups, Drinks, Spreads & Dips, and Basic Beginner recipes.  Membership to this recipe library is at no extra cost. 

If you prefer to follow your own recipes, you can use the Multo to cook without a Multo-specific recipe. Modes include Sauté, Steam, Weigh, Knead, Keep Warm and Manual.

What are my thoughts about Multo after trying it out?

I have been using Multo for over a month; I received it right before the holiday season. I love that Multo has been very useful when cooking larger meals. Having the extra help with chopping, prepping, sauteing, and doing multiple things simultaneously, for example, making a sauce while steaming vegetables, has been great.

I have also been using Multo a lot for baking, and I love how it has made clean-up much easier and faster.

After baking one of my favourites, banana bread, I was often left with a mess, multiple big bowls, measuring cups, etc. Using Multo, I can process everything in one appliance, the mix is smooth and perfectly mixed, and I use Multo’s Deep Clean function, give the bowl a quick run through water to remove any remaining soap, and I am done. So easy!

All accessories and the bowl are dishwasher-safe, so clean-up is always simple.

 

The kids love using the tablet to look for new recipes, and I love the images and easy-to-follow steps, with actual videos and step-by-step instructions. Great for beginner and intermedium level cooks alike. My husband is a more experienced cook, and he prefers to use the Multo with manual settings that he chooses himself; he enjoys using it because it cuts his prep and cooking time and makes less mess.

Multo is priced at $999 USD, which makes it pricey, but if you consider the appliances it replaces, you can save money if you only purchase the Multo. You can replace a food processor, scale, steamer, kneading machine, slow cooker, mixer, blender, rice cooker, yoghurt maker, electric kettle, frying pan, egg cooker, and sous-vide cooker.  

The Multo also takes some extra counter space, but again, because you are replacing other appliances, I find it is o.k in my kitchen.  I love how it looks, it is modern, and with the tablet, it is always a conversation starter when people come over.

I also like seeing all the safety features, including reminders about things being hot before touching them, etc., and the fact that the tablet controls it. I love technology, and it is terrific to see it used in kitchen appliances to make our lives easier. 

I love my Multo, I have tried many recipes already, and I look forward to trying some more in the future.
