Universal list! I have also found that most nursery rhymes (like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, or Baa Baa Black Sheep, or Mary Had A Little Lamb) to be really popular too. I remember singing them when I was a child living in Africa, then Europe and North America; my nephews and niece now sing them…
My 2 year old son LOVES head and shoulders and the wheels on the bus. I think we sing those songs over 20 times each every day:)
Great picks! These songs are well loved in my house.
Nice picks. I sang some of these myself when I was a kid.
Aliya, I agree about the nursery rhymes too!
April 2- I was in a Cub pack some years ago and I was in charge of games and singing for part of our meetings. It’s refreshing to know that these songs have stood the test of time. “Itsy , Bitsy Spider’ can be lots of fun when will done with hand gestures. We had many good sing songs using most of these old songs.–el03ro

Good picks. My daughters is definitely if you’re happy and you know it.
These songs were all favorites in our house…My daughter used to sing “Do you know the Muffin Man”…over and over and over everyday…lol

Those are definitely the most popular songs in our house for the last few years, especially the wheels on the bus. I can probably sing about anything and everything using the wheels on the bus as my guide.
It’s so many years ago since I needed to sing to my children, thank goodness. I think they went to sleep out of protest! I couldn’t sing a tune if my life depended on it:-(
