We love family friendly games that encourage families to turn off the TV, power down all electronic devices, and get together to have fun.
Our son is 2 1/2 years old and he is old enough to play certain family games with us now. Like the new collection of sustainably made wooden games from Blue Orange Games, they are age appropriate and so much fun!
We received a sample of their Zimbbos -Elephantic Pyramids wooden stacking game and we love that the game helps us teach our son about colours and counting. Zimbbos is a great first fame for little ones because the rules are easy to explain and understand and children can easily grasp the pieces and stack them on their own with none or little help from adults.
I am a big fan of wooden toys and I love all the beautifully made wooden pieces in the game. Even the cute little die is made with wood.
To play the game players take turns rolling the die to find out how many elephants to stack on the pyramid, following numerical order. The player to place the 10th elephant on the pyramid without it tumbling down is the winner.
I found that after playing the game a few times my son’s dexterity and balance awareness increased and he was able to stack the pieces a lot faster and with more precision.
We love the Zimbbos game and I definitively see why they have won a Oppenheim Gold Seal award, a Dr. Toy 10 Best Games award and the Parents’ Choice Silver Honor award!

Fun!!
This is WAY too cute! I love that the pieces are all nice and big so I don’t have to worry if my boys leave it out and my baby gets into it.

My kids love this game! and its nice wooden pieces are so pretty – I like to leave out the elephant pyramid on my coffee table, “it’s post-modern art” I tell my guests ;)!
I totally share your opinion about this game!
It is a very nice family game and you can have fun with the little one.
we have received this game as a gift a week ago, and we love it 🙂
unfortunately we don`t have the illustrated rules, as the child used the game before lost them.
Could you please help me with a picture of the illustrated rules by email? Thank you indeed. Have a nice weekend
