There aren’t many Christian-themed toys out there, so when any come along, I love reviewing them. This month we had the chance to review the Twilight Noah’s Ark from Cloud b.
The Twilight Noah’s Ark is a plastic ark toy that projects a starry night scene from its roof and contains four plush finger puppets – monkey, giraffe, turtle and lamb.
By day, the ark is fun to load and unload with the four plush toys included (or any other small animal toys you have around the house). The ark has several window openings and a large entryway on the side that closes with a hinging door so this vessel does not float well and not meant for playing in water. Our door was a little loose and the girls kept knocking it off while playing so we just kept it off to avoid toddler drama.
By night the ark projects a vivid starry nightscape of stars and moon from the roof in three colors – blue, green and orange – that can be set to rotate or stay static. There is an automatic shut-off after 45 minutes to ensure your child sleeps in darkness, which pediatricians say is best.
Two things to note about the projection feature of this toy: 1) the shapes projected are so crisp even when ambient light is in the room, and 2) the shapes shift position on the ceiling as the colors rotate through. This means the moon isn’t always in the same place like is the case with similar projector toys on the market. Watching the shapes slowly shift around on the ceiling is very sleep-inducing.
The four finger puppets included in the Twilight Noah’s Ark are cute and fun to play with. My youngest enjoys putting all the puppets on her hand at once.
The booklet included with the toy has a Bedtime Story but no mention of Noah or the Biblical origins of the ark which was a little disappointing, but the company is leaving it up to parents to discuss the significance of the ark that the toy represents.
Overall, we think the Twilight Noah’s Ark is a great toy for the price. My girls are having fun playing with it during the day and at night. The light projector takes three AAA batteries which are included, so the toy is ready to play with right out of the box.

Thanks for the neat review, this is a fun way to learn about the Ark
I love the looks of this. I don’t buy a lot of toys, but this one looks special. Too bad about the door. And I find it odd that they include a little story but not the Noah and the Ark one.
This makes me love Cloud b even more now…. such a great toy, and a great price!
was just telly hubby about this….it would make a great gift to bring to the shower we have coming up for twins!
I think this is a wonderful toy for little ones. Not only does show the nighttime sky in a sort of way but automatically goes off after 45 minutes.
It has a little booklet but not mention that it represents Noah’s Ark but parents may fill in their own details.
I love the fact that four finger animal puppets are included. This would be great fun for little ones.
This is an awesome toy! I always love hearing of Christian themed toys for my nieces and nephews.
That’s an adorable toy. I especially like the little plush animals.
My kids would adore this! Love all the cute stuffies.
Oh this is such a cute toy!!
My granddaughter is just at the right age now for this
What a super toy, I love the fact that it also gives a starry nightscape of stars and moon, what a great idea. 🙂
