Aw Coconuts-this review is very silly and fun of puns, but if you love Jake and the Neverland Pirates like we do at our house you will understand so Yo Ho, Let’s Go!
Ahoy there Mateys! Join Jake and Izzy on a fun Play-Doh adventure to Neverland with this great set, Treasure Creations! Little buccaneers will love this fun set which includes character cut-outs, a cannon extruder, a Tick-Tock Croc rotary cutter, 3 cans of Play-Doh and more!
How did my little Mateys like this set? They loved it! Both boys (aged 3 and 6) were able to play with most of the elements. The cannon piece was the only piece Smashie couldn’t manage on his own but he loved watching as Bug made the Play-Doh squish out in different shapes.
Bug’s favourite part was the shimmery gold Play-Doh which he used to press the treasure out in the chest and to make gold doubloons. I wish that there was an extra of the gold because I know once it inevitably does dry out he is going to miss it!
From my perspective I love and dread Play-Doh, how does it end up all over the floor? But the creative play the boys enjoyed makes it worth it. I can always sweep it up, right? I can’t really complain as it kept the boys busy while I made dinner a few times now and that is a Mama bonus in my house!
Now here is the best part, this set is really reasonably priced (less than $15.00). This would be perfect gift, Me Hearties for Birthday Parties and Christmas. I think it would make a really great gift to bring to a charity toy drive as well during the holiday season.
