Last Minute Gift For Your Toddler- Elmo’s On The Go Letters {Review}

***Attention last minute shoppers with a little one left to buy for***  If you have a curious little learner still left to buy for I would suggest you check out the Sesame Street Elmo’s On The Go Letters.  If said little learner loves Elmo then this is already a winner!

This self contained set will be a hit with parents and kids.  Let’s start with us moms and dads since we are going to be the ones tidying the set up! Parents will appreciate that the letters all lock into place in the case for easy clean up and storage.  Once the letters are locked into place you can even flip the case upside down and letters will stay put.  Bonus points that the fridge will not be covered with magnetic letters!

Kids aged 2-4 will love the pictures hidden under the letters and the spot to build ‘words’.  The bright colours and chunky shape of the letters will really appeal to little ones.  As kids learn more about letters and their sounds they can move to spelling words out.  My son aged 7 had ‘borrowed’ the set a few times and asked me to spell out words for him.

I really like the set and the price is reasonable at around $25.00.  I only find a couple of really minor drawbacks.  First the letters are a bit hard to get in and out so you have a child on the younger side they might need help.  Second issue is so not even and issue but I wish that the case would stand on end but because of the hinge it doesn’t.  Very minor detail but it would take up less space than laying flat when not in use.
