When we received our Num Noms sets in the mail the other day I didn’t quite know what to expect. We had seen them briefly in the toy store when shopping for birthday gifts the week prior, but hadn’t paid much attention other than the looked really cute. The moment I started to take them out of the packages, I could see why they were so popular. These little collectable figures, are not only cute but they smell a m a z i n g. Like mouth watering amazing. Each little figure is designed after some sort of food, think Sammy S’mores, Margo Rita (pizza) and seasonally appropriate Pumpkin Spice. And of course they are scented to match their namesake. So for all you Pumpkin Spice Latte lovers you can only imagine the spicy goodness that wafts through the air as you open this package!
What exactly do they do you ask? Well aside from keeping your kids occupied for hours on end they are meant to be collected and do exactly that, keep your kids occupied! The “Noms” come in four different options, motorized (they are pretty cute as they scoot across your table), lip gloss (and its scented!) erasers or stamps. The “Nums” come in a variety of different food options, pizza, ice cream, sushi, cupcakes, all things yummy! From there you stack your Nums onto your Noms, creating a variety of different flavour profiles. You can mix and match any which way your heart desires, mixing pizza with sushi, and cupcakes with waffles, really the possibilities are endless.
With part of our Num Noms we received the Art Cart set and it’s absolutely adorable. It comes in the shape of popcorn and cotton candy stand and holds a ruler, erasers, pencil, stamp and ink pad and of course everything is scented. It’s the perfect little set up for my daughter to doodle, without creating a huge mess. The pencil in the kit draws a light pink shade and the cotton candy eraser on top is beyond cute.
In such a short period of time the Num Noms have already created hours of fun in our house and I can’t wait to add some new menu items to our family. Dare I say it but they would make some great stocking stuffers later this year, perhaps maybe the Pizza Party.
