I want to start by saying that I love the idea behind these dolls, and the show they are from, Project Mc2. They are setting an example for young girls as they are four super smart and science-skilled girls recruited to join a spy organization.
Each of these dolls come with STEAM experiments. If case you’re wondering what STEAM means, it is Science, Tech, Engineering, Art, and Math. The experiments come with the equipment needed and the instructions, as well as the science behind it. They are great for getting your child interested in science.
These aren’t limit experiments as you can find the ingredients in your home to make again and again.
Each doll is dressed in her spy outfit and gloved hands so they leave no fingerprints behind! One doll comes with the stuff to make your own invisible ink pen just using household ingredients like baking soda and water. Your ink may seem invisible when you are writing your secret message, but when you rub your paper with a berry or tea bag, the acid in those items creates a chemical reaction that will make your message become visible.
The other doll, let’s you make perfume again and again. The steps are simple and included. These experiments aligned to each girl’s S.T.E.A.M. specialty, so your child could learn how to do four different experiments if they had all four dolls.
Project Mc2 is a show that I can get behind my girls watching on Netflix, and toys that I actually want to buy them. As a homeschooling family, they fit in perfectly with our life style of learning while playing. Now we all can’t wait to check out some more of the other “toys” that they have in this line.
