In retrospect, I should have left it at, “There’s a scooter coming for you in the mail.” Instead… I decided to show my four-year-old daughter, Ama, the picture of this preK girl’s transportation fantasy and then tell her that it was coming in the mail.
This face says it all
I kid you not, every five minutes until this baby arrived on our doorstep she wanted to look up the tracking number.
I’m so glad it arrived quickly.
Ama was absolutely beside herself when she saw “Unicornio” come out of the box. It looks like some crazy thing she might have envisioned as the only unicorn-scooter worthy of her adoration. Complete with sparkles, a neck tutu and a fluffy mane. Oh and, “Just enough pink.”
You will probably note that she has a different threshold for, “Just enough pink” than most people.
Now for a little background on our little bike collector. Ama has four bicycles. She loves bikes, to look at, or to sit on while someone pushes her around and around in a tiny circle until they throw their back out, so I figured her actually being able to use the scooter herself would be a stretch. After we put it together, she hopped on and scooted around the house, for three days.
Loving it
The Razor Jr. Kuties Scooter has three wheels instead of the traditional two… which makes it heaps more sturdy. But, you steer it by leaning instead of turning the handle so it sets them up for controlling things with their body weight which is pretty cool. Which I, as a movement expert, appreciated.
The unicorn head even pops out on a hobby horse stick. Two toys in one. If you’re in the market for a scooter for your little one, I’d say you found your horse. Although I wouldn’t show them the photo until the thing arrives, they also make a manly little cowboy number if your kid is more the rugged west type.
Kuties Specs:
- Rider Age:3+
- Max Weight:45 lbs
- Product Colours:Pink/Yellow
- Product Weight:7 lbs

She is too cute! Love the scooter!
This is adorable, I love that it is 3 wheels so it’s easy to balance for beginners.
These are great, having 3 wheels is a huge advantage for smaller children. I also like the fact that steering is through body weight, great idea to encourage balancing. Love the hobby horse heads of these too.
