What little boy doesn’t love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? I am old enough that I can say that I have seen them go through the popularity loop three times. My brothers all had Ninja Turtles and watched the 80’s and 90’s version of the show. I have been around TMNT for a very long time so it comes as no surprise to me that my boys are interested in them as well.
I received a box of toys at the absolute eleventh hour of Christmas and it has everything my little boys could want! We will go from a two turtle house to a very turtley house! I had absolutely NO IDEA there were so many cool toys available. I have bought TMNT toys before for birthday gifts as they are a great price (usually under $10) for a toy that will see a lot of action, but the variety has me amazed!!!
To get back in the loop we have been watching TMNT which Nick airs. Check out the fun games at TMNT: City Under Siege for more turtle action. So we are ready to play with some TMNT toys!
First thing I know my boys will be drawn to is the Party Wagon because it is awesome! It is a very cool van with all sorts of battle gear on it. With an under $30 price point it is a fun accessory without being crazy expensive. This would make a great last minute Christmas gift or birthday gift for the kid that has a few Ninja Turtles already.
And then of course we have turtles!! We have Head Poppin Raphael whose head when pushed down is hidden in his shell. Squeeze his legs and up his head pops again! Also we received Battle Shell Donatello who is my fave because he tidies up all his little weapons right into his shell. No loose pieces! There are so many turtles plus bad guys in this pack!!! I can see some major battles in our future!
All of these great toys are going to go under our Christmas tree to be opened up in a couple of days. I will be sure to post a few pictures on my Instagram feed @frugalista_mamas of the boys enjoying their new turtley awesome new toys!
